To study a Level 3 diploma the entry requirements for students are at least 5 GCSE’s 9 – 4 (A* - C).

For students with 5 GCSE’s 9 – 1 (A* - G), a Level 2 course may be offered provided the student has a commitment to further study. 

Any students that do not meet these entry requirements must be able to demonstrate a willingness to work hard and to take advantage of the opportunities, expertise and facilities which are available.

Students who have a grade 3 or grade D GCSE or equivalent in maths and/or English will be enrolled on to a GCSE maths and/or English to obtain at least a grade 4.

Students with prior attainment of a GCSE grade 2 or below or grade E or below in maths and/or English will be enrolled on to the Edexcel Maths Award Course or AQA Step-up English course in order to support them as they to work towards a GCSE in maths and/or English.
